Piritu Coffee follows Norwegian consumer law. This policy explains your right of withdrawal, the limits that apply to fresh products, and the process for returns and refunds.
02 — Important: Coffee Exemption
Why coffee cannot be returned
This 14-day return right does not apply to coffee or other perishable products, as per Angrerettsloven §22(d).
Coffee is a fresh product with a limited shelf life and cannot be returned once shipped, except in cases of defect or damage.
This is consistent with how all specialty roasters in Norway operate. It protects the quality of what we send to you and ensures fairness across all customers.
03 — Defective or Damaged Products
If something is wrong with your order
If your coffee arrives damaged, stale, or with any defect, contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will replace the product or issue a full refund.
Please include your order number and, if possible, a photo of the damage or defect. This helps us resolve the issue quickly and improve our packaging.
04 — Returnable Items
Non-coffee products
Non-coffee items (brewing equipment, merchandise, gift cards) can be returned within 14 days. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
05 — Refund Process
When you receive your money back
Once we receive your return, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a few additional days to appear on your statement.
