The best coffee gift is one they cannot pick up at the supermarket, and one that fits the way they already brew. Most coffee lovers have a mug collection already. What they rarely have is a coffee with a story they can taste.
These are the gifts we would give ourselves, from our roastery in Oslo, with an honest note on who each one suits.

For the Curious Filter Drinker: Tres Amigos de Cusco
All three of our coffees in one box, 200 g of each, from Dwight Aguilar Masias at Finca Nueva Alianza, 1,900 metres up in Santa Teresa, Cusco, Peru.
- Yellow Gesha. Jasmine, peach, citrus and honey.
- Red Gesha. Floral tea, stone fruit, citrus and honey.
- SL09 Inca. Dark berry, red wine, chocolate and dried fruit.
It is the gift for someone who likes to compare. Brewed side by side with the same recipe, the three cups are easy to tell apart, and the two Geshas show how much the tree itself shapes the flavour. We have written more about that in Red Gesha vs Yellow Gesha.
The Yellow and Red Gesha are the last bags from the 2025 harvest, so if you want this exact trio, order early. It ships free in Norway and across Europe.
For a Gift Delivered to Their Door: The Piritu Gift Box
Three microlots from our current lineup, 200 g each, wrapped as a gift with a handwritten card. You write the message in the note field at checkout, enter their name and address as the shipping address and your own details for billing, and we do the rest.
There are no prices or invoices in the box, and we cover the shipping. The gift box ships within Norway with Helthjem and arrives in 1 to 2 days. The selection changes through the year as new harvests arrive.
For Someone Starting Out: Hario V60 Switch
Two brewers in one. With the switch open it works as a classic V60 pour over. Closed, it steeps like an immersion brewer and releases with the flip of a switch. It is the most forgiving way we know to brew a delicate coffee at home, which makes it a good first brewer. Glass bowl, stainless steel switch, silicone base, 1 to 4 cups, and 40 filters included.
Pair it with a bag of coffee so they can start brewing the day it arrives.
For the Last Minute: A Digital Gift Card
Delivered instantly by email, redeemable on everything in the shop, from coffee to brewing equipment, and it never expires. It is also the safest choice if you are not sure which coffee they would pick. Available from 300 to 5,000 NOK.
For the V60 Owner: Hario V60 Meteor Filters
A small gift that gets used every morning. These fast-flow filters are made in Japan from FSC-certified pulp and abaca fibre, and drain up to three times faster than standard V60 papers, so you can grind finer for a cleaner, brighter cup. They fit V60 02 drippers.
For Someone You Want to Treat All Year: A Subscription
Pick the coffees and how many of each, and we roast to order and send them every 2, 3 or 4 weeks. Every bag is 10 % off, shipping is free on every delivery, and there is no binding period. To give it as a gift, start the subscription on our subscription page and enter their name and address as the shipping address at checkout, with your own details for billing. The coffee goes straight to them, and you can pause or cancel whenever you like.
Two Tips Before You Order
- Give the coffee time to rest. We roast to order and ship within 24 hours of roasting. Our Gesha tastes best from around seven days after the roast date, so a bag ordered a week or two before the big day is right on time.
- Order early in December. Parcel services get busy before Christmas, especially for deliveries outside Norway.
Buying for a team or for clients? See our corporate coffee gifts page for invoicing, delivery to several addresses and the tax-free gift limit in Norway.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a good gift for a coffee lover who has everything?
A coffee they have not tasted before. Rare microlots like Gesha and SL09 from Cusco, Peru, are hard to find in shops, and a set of three lets them compare the flavours side by side.
Do you ship coffee gifts outside Norway?
Yes. Our coffee, Tres Amigos de Cusco and brewing equipment ship across Europe, with free shipping over 65 euros. The wrapped gift box with a handwritten card is available in Norway only.
When should I order a coffee gift for Christmas?
We roast to order and ship within 24 hours, and our Gesha tastes best from about seven days after roasting. Ordering one to two weeks before you give it is ideal.
Does the gift card expire?
No. The digital gift card never expires and can be used on everything in the shop.
