SL09 Inca Microlot - Cusco, Peru (200g)

SL09 Inca

A rare SL09, also known as Inca Gesha, from the high slopes of the Andes in Cusco, Peru.

Grown by Dwight Aguilar Masias, a two-time Peru Cup of Excellence first-place winner, at Finca Nueva Alianza in Santa Teresa, La Convencion, Cusco. The farm sits on the eastern slope of the Andes at 1,800-1,900 masl, where SL09 is cultivated across just 1.5 hectares.

Dark berry, red wine, rich chocolate, and dried fruit.

Carefully processed: the cherries are de-pulped immediately after picking and fermented in enclosed steel tanks for 60 hours at tightly controlled temperatures between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius. The seed in parchment is then washed and dried under careful shade management over roughly 20 days.
